What is Shopmobility? Shopmobility is a nationwide scheme that assists disabled people and those with limited mobility to access shopping centres and other places such as tourist attractions. The scheme is run from car parks and has spaces for disabled parking outside the centre. There is no need for blue badges to use the service, but it will make accessing it much easier. However, if you do have a blue badge, you can park right outside the shopmobility centre. That way, you will be close by, but you can still access it as easily.
Shopmobility provides electric mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and powered wheelchairs to people with limited mobility. This service is for everyone with mobility problems, from children to elderly people. Some of these services are free, while others charge a small fee or donation service.
